There are so many things in life that we consider valuable. Today the things that are priceless to me are the memories of buying my first home after my marriage..looking out the window at the peaceful open field. Erika being the first child to have her own room in that house..and a few months later Adam moving home to be with us--where he belonged and needed to be. Shortly after, Jared..a newborn..taking me back to having a child completely dependent on me again so many years later..the house was getting full..full of hopes, dreams and love...then came Jenna (not expected) and we never got to bring her home but her room was ready and her things were in place and the house became my peace to heal and give me hope--their were birds, hampsters, fish, my beloved cat Rocky (who is buried in the yard) and many other pet that filled our lives with fun and responsibility. Finally--a healthy baby girl, Erin..who brought the light back into the home and it shined brighter than ever... we outgrew it. That doesnt mean we ever forgot it. It was HOME. Finally--the move to where we are now. Togetherness and change but always HOME. So your HOME really is where your heart has been and is now and we pray and hope for the ones who call it HOME to rebuild and remember all of the memories....like we do....that is what makes it HOME.
