There are so many things that I am thankful for. I am thankful for the friends that God has blessed us with; both old and new. We would have never made it through some of the events that have transpired in the past couple of months without you. To the people of Johns Creek, Georgia and beyond that have opened their lives, hearts and so much more up to our family. We will be eternally grateful for all of the love that you have given. I am so thankful that we serve a God that never leaves us in our time of despair. Recently there were times that I felt that God had disappeared on me. With that being said, I am thankful that He allows me to be the crazy one and loves me unconditionally. I am thankful that through Alexs Foundation, Beautiful Beyond the Pain, we are now able to help other children attend special medical needs camps. Where as Alex has enjoyed being a part of Camp Twin Lakes/Camp Oasis for the past nine years, other kids will now have the opportunity to attend and experience a camp especially designed for them. Thanks to each and every one of you that have supported this endeavor. There are so many people that I would like to personally thank but I am afraid I may leave out someone; so I wont list everyone. Please know that if you think I am talking about you, you are probably correct. Last, but not least, I am thankful for my family. I know that this year has been filled with so many ups and downs, tears of laughter and tears of pain, disappointments and celebrations and so on. Through it all; and by the grace of God we have remained a family. I love you all...even when we are mad at each other and not speaking. Happy Thanksgiving (now belated) to everyone. Thank you all for being such an important part of my crazy life. Would not know what to do without you.
