They may lack the time or resources to exercise. We shouldn’t assume that people are just lazy. Their lives might be overwhelming to them.” Oh my. That was what I was writing in my PhD, but was so completely unacceptable to one of my supervisors who dismissed it as polemic, not evidence. Some days are made to remind you of your bruises.
