There are times in every mans life when he has to come to a decision. Hes on the horns of a dilemma, if you will. Two paths diverge in the forest and he has to choose which one to take. Hes between a rock and a hard place. Where the rubber meets the road. Its time for action. Time to step up. It all comes down to this moment. Heads or tails. Yes or no. Do or die. Its down to the wire. The clock is running out. Time moves in slow motion as he takes that one giant leap into the future. This is not one of those moments. This is one of those other times. More of a sitting on the couch and staring vaguely into the middle distance moment. And the only big decision at hand is microwave burrito or ham sandwich. I like these moments more. It all goes back to the Waterpark Dichotomy that weve talked about many times before and I just now made up. When you go to the waterpark, do you head for the 120 foot Freefall of Doom, or do you plop your drunken ass down in the Lazy River? I think thats all I need to say on that.
