There are times in life where our desire to do good protects us from breaching the values and morals that we have established for ourselves. However, there are also times where our curiosity and search for acceptance diminishes the very morals and values that we have set. Some of us are capable of seeing the consequences of a decision prior to making it. To me, this is a gift. And a gift I feel I have. Ive always complained about having an over active Brain, I do so much thinking, and not enough doing. But thinking will not have detrimental consequences. Its the doing that comes as a result of our overthinking or our lack of thinking at all. What people think of us means nothing, if we think nothing of ourselves. There has to be a line that we draw, not for anyone else, but ourselves. This line represents what we stand for. If we choose to cross that line, we are choosing to become a little more like our worst nightmare. No one can establish our morals for us, no one can tell us what is right or wrong for ourselves. We have to figure that out. Because when the time comes, where those morals are tested and our toes are on the line, its us that has to choose right. Despite how convenient choosing wrong might be.
