There are times in our lives when we come to a knotch in the clock that wont move. Nothing seems to go forward. Youre stuck between the hand you are hanging on and the next second. You feel everything that was before you is now falling back on you; everything to the east and west of you is closing in on you, but you know you have God. He is always there, even when you cant see him or feel him. Even, when you try as you may, to keep the clutter of overwhelm from smothering you, it comes at you like a rolling fog. It comes in many ways, from jobs, home, church, many people, from many man-made organizations, even from your, I-thought-I-was-doing-the-right-thing-self! And no matter how loud you holler, GOD, IVE DONE ALL YOU TOLD ME TO DO, IM IN CHURCH, I PRAY EVERYDAY, I LIFT YOU UP! Still the fog rolls your way and you feel suffocated. Perhaps the only place left in this pocket of air is on your knees, then finally, on your face. And you began to call on God because Hes the only one thats blowing breath your way, He hears you-- He truly cares--you can feel his heartbeat against yours, and to be totally honest with you, Hes the only one you know you can trust to pull you out. But pull you out to what? Proverbs 3:5 says Trust in The Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine OWN understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge HIM and HE will direct your path. Lord, everything around me is a fog. Im in the Holy of Holiest places right here, and Im coming out! With YOU alone. Take me by my hand Lord, I want to know its YOU! I want to be led by YOU, to what YOU have designed me to be and do! Thank You Lord. Worthy is the Lamb of God!
