There are times when I let my feelings roll on Facebook but, more often, I let loose on my Blogs. I have mentioned, elsewhere - on another persons page, that I have a wicked sense of humour. Sometimes this can be not only biting but acerbic. This is the result of twenty seven years of military service. Why does that matter? Because military humour and civilian humour are different. Primarily, the women in the military are different. Military women have to be better than men to stay level; the military is deemed to be a Mans Province. Women are tolerated - just. I am accustomed to men and women who are capable of standing on their own two feet and giving back whatever is thrown at them. They are witty, intelligent and, often, equally graphic with their comments. It is not possible to just cast off years of insidious programming that started at an early age. That is life. If I say anything at all that offends you, hurts you or causes you any sort of grief then send me a personal message. But dont expect me to be all warm and fuzzy. That would not be me. People like Jim McIntosh, Rob Harding, Freddie Ward, Karen Pinnion, understand this very well. Civilians will, probably, not get it. I am sorry for you for that.
