There are times when its important to take time and enjoy a creative date and Ive been blessed to connect with Lisa A. Tishman and her fabulous Artshop I, II, III, IV. Today we worked with charcoal and she first had us do timed sketches to warm up. Then everyone selected the subject(s) they wanted to do. The first image, below left, are the three timed sketches that I did as I sat outside while looking at a Buddha statue from the far left. The second, below right, I drew from a more direct view and I chose to do a close-up of the head.
