There are two dates that will forever remain in my mind until my last breath on this earth. December 7, 1941 the attack of Pearl Harbor. As I was not born until 1957 I can only rely on history to educate myself of this terrible day. I often think what did the US people feel like on this tragic day. On September 11, 2001 WTC attack I believe I felt some of what they may have felt. As I watched the news reports of 2001 my emotions were of fear, anger, sadness and disbbelief. Why why why did this happen, who is respopnsible and how would our US Government react. As the next few days came and went my heart felt empty. All I could think about were those innocent people who lost their lives and the EVIL people who carried out the attack. Over the next 12 years our government has eliminated several high ranking terrorists of the Taliban. Today I still feel sad and pray for all those who lost their lives and were injured. We are a strong people and country. May God bless those families who lost so much and never let us forget this date.
