There are two kinds of people in my Facebook life. Those who see my notifications and those who do not. If you do NOT see this, than you are likely not sick of me yet, If you DO see this, you are probably annoyed at this point by all the requests for donations to support the marathon bombing victims. To that I would say that your annoyance is nothing compared to the frustration these victims have day in and day out living in their new reality. They could have been me or you just as easily. They didnt ask for this, yet they have all handled it with dignity and grace. They dont ask for handouts or seek out pity. They appreciate the golf claps at events, but ultimately just want to get back to their own lives. What happened that day on April 15 could have very easily have happened to me and my family. It did not. Were we all impacted emotionally? Yes. However, that does not compare, does it? These victims need our help for expenditures that most of us can not begin to understand. For the next 9 days, I will continue to post requests for your donation. $10, $100, $1000 it all matters a lot. Run with me, Sponsor me, ignore me, un-friend me.
