The Vancouver civic election is coming up on Saturday and it’s an extremely close race that will determine how our city will be run and managed over the next four years. Who you vote for, and as a city who we elect, will have a major direct impact on your day-to-day lives including: - Housing - Homelessness - Climate change - Transit - Arts and culture - Economic priorities If you haven’t had the opportunity to see your local candidates and learn about their stance on issues like oil tankers, coal, and local democracy, here is your opportunity to make an informed decision on Saturday. You’re eligible to vote in this election if: - You’re a Canadian citizen who is over the age of 18 - You’ve lived in BC for 6 Months - Been a resident of Vancouver for 1 month See you at the polls!
