There can be miracles when you believe! I would like to take a lead role in volunteering to organize a live music event which brings together various types of gospel music together at the Welch Armory. Lets unite many bodies of faith from all over McDowell County and officially declare 2015 as the year when we take McDowell County, WV back to its former status as crown jewel of the state. I was disappointed to learn the armory might soon be closed to the public forever and want to do what I can to help the McDowell County leaders who asked me to do something about this. For my full time job at WVU, I along with others helped to bring all the schools together for the first time ever and broadcasted the physical activity celebration to more than 300 devices, which was in addition to multiple statewide & regional media outlets that covered the event. We now know whats possible in Little New York when you have strong partnerships and teamwork.
