There comes a point in the day when a girl knows the best thing she can do for herself and all of humanity is to put up yellow crime tape around her house with signs that say DISASTER AREA-DO NOT ENTER and then just go to bed and cover up her head. That time in the day for me is now. Its been a good Saturday. Went to my friend Brenda Squires Wilson birthday party, to the store, to Lowes. Came home, started doing things around the house with energy that is usually elusive, especially on a Saturday. Started laundry, played seamstress, put the dogs water bowl in the sink to fill up with water, oops there goes the buzzer on the dryer so I need to get those clothes out of the dryer and take to my closet. Think Ill sit here on the bed and watch tv for a minute while the other clothes wash. Hum is that rain I hear? Oh Im so excited I think Ill get a cup of coffee sit on the back porch and watch it rain. OH NO! THATS NOT RAIN. Go back a few sentences--put the dogs water bowl in the sink to fill up with water, oops there goes the buzzer...--You know what happens when the water bowl is covering the drain and distractions occur? Well wasnt planning on mopping the floor but thats what you do when you have just flooded the kitchen. Hey Carolyn Nuthman do you and Mike know anything about kitchen flooding?
