There exist a wide gap between truth and falsity. Governor Isah - TopicsExpress

There exist a wide gap between truth and falsity. Governor Isah Yuguda of Bauchi state displayed that over the weekend in Bauchi where he resorted to desperate and panicky measures to stop General Muhammadu Buhari from attending a wedding fatiha. It was reminiscent of the campaign period in 2011 when Northern traditional leaders were shutting the gate of palaces and scamparing to unplanned visits any time Buhari was visiting the state.Take it or leave it, Buhari strikes fear at the bottom of the corrupt Nigerian politician and they want nothing of him. I was told of an earlier wedding Buhari attended at the same Bauchi. I was told the moment his car was sighted, it was Baba oyoyo(wellcome father) everywhere. Governors and former governors were ignored as everyone wanted a handshake with the people‘s General. Beggars shunned politicians that will give them money and shook hands with Buhari. I am sure Yuguda was afraid of similar experience. Or better still, he was afraid of been caught smiling in the presence of the General and the report taken to the Oga @ the top. It is becoming more glaring that good name is better than money. Very soon some with their tones of money will be booed. Yuguda had never pretended to be guided by intergrity. In 2007,he rode to victory on Buhari‘s back, became governor and dumped Buhari and ANPP. To consolidate his position in PDP he became President Yar‘adua‘s inlaw. How ambitous can one get. He is deep into his second term as a Governor and judging from his antecedents, the people of his Senatorial zone would prefer a more honest person. Why not the CBN job? I am told he is qualified for the job. (or is he?) He is now the hatchet man for GEJ 2015 project from the north. He is ready to jettison the northern governor‘s forum as they are against his new boss‘es interest. That is the typical Yuguda,no conscience, no quandary, the end justify the means.. Wherever the sun shines, that is where he belongs. But Yuguda, beware as you dig graves for others...
