There has been a number of news stories over the past decade about scientific studies pertaining to the possible dangers of cell phone radiation as well as electromagnetic radiation from a number of other sources such as wi-fi, cell towers, smart meters, cordless phones, baby monitors and blue tooth devices. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), a committee of 27 scientists from 14 different countries, working on behalf of the World Health Organization (WHO), concluded that exposure to cell phone radiation is a "possible carcinogen" and classified it into the 2B category. That is the same category as the pesticide DDT, lead, gasoline engine exhaust, burning coal and dry cleaning chemicals. The children’s health expert panel concluded that, as of 2013, there are nine types of cancer linked to cell phone use, including; gliomas, acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, salivary gland cancer, eye cancer, testicular cancer, leukemia, thyroid cancer and breast cancer. Children are much more susceptible because they have rapidly developing bodies and nervous systems. Electromagnetic radiation from cell phones and Wi-Fi has already been shown to cause diminished reaction time, decreased brain motor function, social and emotional problems, and inability to focus on complex and long-term tasks in children. There is sufficient evidence now to take proactive action to protect pregnant women and children from excessive electromagnetic exposure. This is especially important since DNA mutations are irreversible and can be passed down to future generations. articles.mercola/sites/articles/archive/2013/09/21/cell-phone-wifi-radiation.aspx?e_cid=20130921Z1_PRNL_art_2&utm_source=prmrnl&utm_medium=email&utm_content=art2&utm_campaign=20130921Z1
