There has been an awful lot of publicity, as of late, regarding the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and it policies. It has been scrutinized for its strict adherence to a specific set of values and beliefs. We have seen members of the Church both try to display their objections through voluntary dismissal from the ranks of the Church, and by attempting to remain a member despite their obvious disagreements with what the Church teaches and believes. I have largely remained silent on the matter in a public setting, such as Facebook, since I feel that who have pursued this aggressive stance against the Church have allowed themselves to be poisoned by the philosophies of men and are without the companionship of the Holy Ghost, who testifies of the truthfulness of all things. However, as a disciple and witness of Christ and His Church, I feel that I can no longer stand worthy in the presence of God and watch those who would call themselves my brothers and sisters in the Church attempt to thwart the work of God and the building of His Kingdom by tarnishing its name and reputation through faithless criticism. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true Church of Christ, restored to the Earth for our day, and will remain in its true form until Christ comes again. I know that Gods ways and thoughts are higher than mans ways and thoughts, and it is imperative that we trust in that. God has assured us that his prophet and apostles will not lead us astray. I trust that they speak his will. Any action taken against their counsel and teaching is therefore in direct opposition to God, which is a position I dare not fill. I invite anyone struggling with the Church in any way to look with an eye of faith, and ask God with faith in Christ and real intent, and he will manifest the TRUTH of all things to you through the power of the Holy Ghost.
