There has never been a perfect law enacted by any government. Not - TopicsExpress

There has never been a perfect law enacted by any government. Not even The Constitution of the United States of America. It has been amended 27 times. One amendment needed to end slavery in America. At 85, I have a been there, done that record of seeing the same kind of opposition against the Affordable Health Care Act by conservatives predicting terrible results if the GI Bill was passed after WWII. In fact, it gave America the greatest, longest era of prosperity in the history of any country. The bill dubbed with a sneer by Republicans as "Obamacare" is the current imperfect legislation being furiously fought by conservatives with predictions of terrible results. Once again, like our constitution, the GI Bill, the Civil Rights Bill and my example of America at its best, The Marshall Plan, the Affordable Health Care Act will ultimately depend on taking its place in history on the common sense of the American people. Nothing complies with the hopes of our Founding Fathers expressed in The Preamble to the U.S. Constitution more than the legislation to assure every citizen the right to humane health care. It is the beginning of finally making health care the right of We the People, not just we, the privileged.
