There have been many broken promises in our lives; those we made - TopicsExpress

There have been many broken promises in our lives; those we made to others and vice versa. Nobody will ever claim to having kept every promise made. The reasons are that, sometimes we tend to forget, sometimes we are negligent, and sometimes they may be due to circumstances beyond our control. Then what do we say about the promises of God? How certain are they? Unlike the promises of man, the Bible tells us about the veracity of His promises. In Genesis Chapter 12 and Chapter 22:18, God told Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. Now a promise is of no use if the one who gave it do not have the ability to carry it through. It includes the willingness to do so. Yet, God carried His promises made to Abraham through. In dire circumstances, Abraham said Jehovah Jireh God my provider. The Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. God has given you a promise that all things work together for good to those who love Him and believe in Him (Rom. 8:28). It might be difficult to understand it though, but l assure you in the name of Jesus, it shall surely come to pass. He will definitely hasten to perform the promises He has said about you! All the best!!
