There have been so many complaints about the game! Terrain was too hard, guys were shooting hot, someone overshot me! This was by far one of the best games weve ever been a part of. Viper Six has played many big scenarios, but ION 2014 at Skirmish was amazing. The terrain was a challenge, and we loved it; especially since we were 101st airborne, so we were all over the field. Some people were shooting hot, but we had pretty good range too, and it just gave you more incentive to stay down and play well. With 4,000+ players fighting a literal war, you can expect to be overshot a little. Overall everyone was pretty respectful, and attempted to lift their fire to let guys out. We cant wait to do it again next year. Yay for historical accuracy; the Germans had our airborne platoons separated and lost for the better part of the morning on Saturday. They played very well, but we managed to string together some ragtag platoons and get to our objectives. Great fighting from both sides. Pic-related; its some of my Viper Six guys prepping to slaughter Nazis like walk-ons. Kill count for everyone in our unit was over 20. Some were pushing almost 90-100.
