There have, understandably, been a few questions about my new job... So, I decided to put together a quick video of some of the work Im doing. My company builds industrial-scale CNC routers. These are purchased by various companies (often aerospace manufacturers) for shaping/milling wood, plastic, metal, carbon fiber, etc. The machine in the video, for instance, is going to a company that produces prototype parts for Formula 1 racing teams. In the video we are milling the surface of the table flat so that the customer has a perfect surface on which to do their work. After I finish training, I will be travelling to these various companies to install or maintain their CNC equipment.
