There is a PayPal donate button now on Cairde Grace to help with extra expenses incurred while Grace is away from home in hospital as well as some alternative therapies to support her throughout the chemo. I am well aware that my Grace isnt the only sick child in Ireland. In fact she is one of circa 250 families destroyed each year by a childhood cancer diagnosis. This means that since Grace was diagnosed in 2010, there have been about 1000 diagnoses since. There are only two childrens cancer charities in the entire country, HandinHandWest and Aoibheanns Pink Tie who rely on donations to keep helping families like mine. Unfortunately some of our requirements are outside of their remit, hence the fundraising. Please support either of these causes as your donations will be put to very good use and share this please.
