There is a Taxi app that is active in Macau called ryde365. This looks like just another way to be extorted by the drivers. I tried it out just yesterday to go from Taipa to the Taipa ferry, the app calculates the fare to be 60mop, already double what the meter would be. The app then gives you the opportunity to increase the offer in order to improve the chances of a driver accepting. Anyway, I didnt increase the offer and then was denied by the app.. So pretty much the same as most of the taxi cues around town. **edit - thanks to the mods for making this forum, its long overdue here in Macau.
