There is a distinct difference between VISION SETTING and TACTICS USED to accomplish the vision. God may give you the vision and you were humble enough to hear God. But when you get high on yourself from an internal perspective...you have allowed pride to find its way in you. Now, you will think that nobody should question your TACTICS USED to accomplish the VISION GIVEN. If you get to this place, God will use others to question your tactics, but you will question their support of the vision. All the while those who question the tactics support the vision... but the tactics used may not be in line with how God wants you to proceed. So instead of hearing them out... you remove them from your path. You are trying to find the pathway of least resistance... and when you find that path... you are likely on that broad road that Jesus talks about. It leads to destruction. And on that road there will be many who are along for the ride until you fall. The voices you once heard questioning your tactics, but supported the vision... was the warning signs that were trying to prevent you from going over the cliff! But you removed them from the equation and now you are on your own. no true accountability brothers and sisters who will challenge your flesh and strengthen your spirit. Internal pride will blind you to YOU! Showing humility outwardly but internally prideful is a recipe for destruction!
