There is a general tendency among believers since the time of Adam - TopicsExpress

There is a general tendency among believers since the time of Adam to blame God if anything goes wrong in their life. After Adam was decieved by the devils crafitiness, instead of admitting his mistake he casted the blame on God. He said: “The woman YOU PUT HERE with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” (Genesis 3: 12 NIV) Similarly, many believers today fall prey to this temptation not realizing the fact that the devils only aim is to make them question their faith in God (and His love for them) and finally, abandon it. Much like the Israelites, who wandered in the desert with Moses, a lot of believers keep complaining about Gods provisions for them and become deceived to the point of rebelling against their only helper (in times of trouble) and make themselves more miserable than before. Dear brother or sister, All the difficulties and failures in our life should be regarded as Gods ways of refining our character into Christ-likeness (that is, humility and meekness) and not as lifes mazes to altercate our faith. The Bible implores us to keep trusting God (and praying to Him with humility) even during trials, tribulations and persecutions because the tempter is always looking for ways to sneak in his thoughts into our mind and make us rebel against God. 1 Peter 5:8-11 NIV Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen. Praying for you. Have a happy day!
