There is a group of people who I owe an apology to. When I first joined the 501st (and later the Rebel) Legion, I was as gung ho as a person could be. I thought dressing as characters from my favorite movies was the coolest thing a person could do and I couldnt understand how there could be people in the group who only trooped 1 or 2 events a year. It was a mystery to me that you would be part of a group and NOT go out as often as you possibly could!! Well, for a wide range of reasons, some which are well documented and others that are more private, I am quickly becomming one of those people that used to confound me. I am still proud to be a member of this community and the good things that we do, but its just not the same glow as before. Being as active as I was before has cost me in ways that I will not go into here but that I am still working on rectifying. I know there are people in my local garrison/base that I have upset or put off with this attitude, so to those people who tried to explain the reality of things in the past, just know that I understand and Im sorry for not getting it sooner.
