There is a lane closure blackout for Texas Motor Speedway race weekend. The lane closure blackout begins on Friday, June 6 at noon and runs until Sunday, June 8 at noon. The next Business Owner Task Force meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 11, at 9:30 a.m. at the Fossil Creek 11 theatre. Please attend to hear project updates. Here are the anticipated traffic impacts for the coming week (day closures are from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; night closures are from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. unless otherwise noted): • I-35W Northbound Main Lanes (tentative schedule) o Overnights, Monday, June 2 and Tuesday, June 3, the right, outside lane from US287 to North Tarrant Parkway will be closed to prepare for traffic switch. o Overnights, Tuesday, June 3 and Wednesday, June 4, the ramp to North Tarrant Parkway will be closed for barrier and striping. o Overnight, Wednesday, June 4, the ramp from Basswood Blvd to northbound IH 35W will be closed permanently. o Overnight, Wednesday, June 4, the right, outside lane from Western Center Blvd to North Tarrant Parkway will be closed for traffic switch. o Overnight, Thursday, June 5, the right, outside lane from Western Center Blvd to US 287 DC will be closed.
