There is a lawsuit by a family that lost their son on Hwy 17 because of an inexperienced truck driver in a truck that had faulty brakes. We see it all the time. I used to think of truck drivers as safe. The other day I was driving on Hwy 1 and there was a bottleneck and a slowdown. The trucks were in the fast lane. A big truck came right up on my tail end. He was pushing me. He almost rear ended me. I probably would not of made it if he hit me. When it cleared up I called 911. I got his company description and stayed behind him and got his liscense plate number. He was very young and he was flipping me off. I know that they got him at some point but I pulled off to get to Cabrillo. I think as single drivers that we should do this more. He was heading to Hwy 17. We can make citizen citations.
