There is a reason why I met Dr. Ellie Drake and heard her lecture at the Braveheart Womens RISE in 2010 and there is a good reason why I feel the tug in my heart to friend the women of other countries and genuinely love them. It was quite a supernatural thing. I do believe that now. All across the globe, we are all the same. We are all Sisters. Thank you Ellie, I have not forgotten your message. I have carried it in my heart, since my moment shared with you at Braveheart and how you were so kind to have me stand on that red carpet with you for that photo. I was happy to hear of your love for your own country...Iran. I have realized why you are here and why you are the doctor (as I told Samira of Iran) of peace among women across the globe. I have met a beautiful woman from Iran on Facebook, who now knows that there are people here in America who care about others. We must all gently reach out to people in other countries in the simplest of ways, to show them that we are not haters. Baby steps. A simple act of genuine kindness shown to another person around the world, is a step in the right direction. Love is a Healer. Samira Khanum, I have only known you on FB for one day, but I can say that I care about you as a sister and truly I am enjoying your friendship. Lets pass what we are sharing on to the women in our own countries, you in yours and I will do the same in mine. Lets get women to do what you and I have done today, to be Bravehearted Women and step toward each other, so that we can see truth and caring for one another. Samira, You and I, lets spread the message and words about our friendship and start a wave that will foster peace on a global scale among women. We are the true peacemakers. If we dont, there is much that can be lost and it is worth a try, no matter how hard it may seem at first. It is worth a try kind friend.
