There is a repetitve drawback from not renewing your expired passport or replacing a lost passport. Remaining without a passport in a foreign country has more negative than positive effect. Endeavour to have a current passport even if you are an Over-stayer. There are very few occasions where your application will be positively considered without your national passport/ID Card. Also, in situations where your application is not successful, you might loose your right to appeal just by not having a valid passport or National ID card. So go and apply for your national passport if you have none!!! Take heed now!!! Thank You!!
