There is a saying that if you cannot solve the problem, its because you are playing by the rules. Smaller political parties and pressure groups who want real change for the better, ought to think about this. As for the so called main parties, the status quo is perfect. The rules are their best tool. They will defend them with their lives all in the name of democracy. Anything goes as long as its democratic. It doesnt matter whether its working or not. After all, all one needs to do is wait till the next election. Are we sure we are practicing democracy? Isnt what we are practicing primarily, electoral democracy?
