There is a subtle way SSNIT has robbed the state and workers of their pensions. I have witnessed and have proof. SSNIT refuses to credit your statement for, say a month in the year and they dont email or message you to tell you. Many Ghanaians get credited maybe 11 months out of 12 but since people hardly check their statement, they never know. You probably only find out when youre old and going on pension that some months you worked were never credited. Even though deductions were made at source. Your statement proves it but you go through hell years later if you seek a correction. SSNIT has done this with my statement & they will find out that when they refuse to work, we will make them do it. Just randomly requested my SSNIT statement & July of last year was not credited. Whoever prepared that statement should have seen. A colleague lost three months on his SSNIT payments that were never traced. I will follow this and you will see what an corrupt corporation SSNIT is. This is happening to workers all over the country. And were talking 18% worker salaries every month for more than 10million Ghanaian workers. Not any little money!.#Ghana
