There is a word thrown about in Democratic circles about the Republicans shutdown over ObamaCare; unconstitutional. This is a word we have become desensitized to in ways, because Republicans use it every chance they can. However, what they are engaging in is unconstitutional. The Affordable Care Act was debated and voted on. It passed the House, the Senate and went to President Obama for his signature. It has been found constitutional in numerous State supreme courts around the country. The ACA eventually found its way to the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. and again was found constitutional. President Obama ran healthcare reform in 2008 and won with nearly 53% of the vote. He ran on his landmark legislation again in 2012, and won by 51.1% of the vote. That is the constitutional way these things happen.
