There is an effort Oregon to make it illegal for any environmental group, individual, or government body to file a law suite over violations of environmental law on federal lands. They pollute your well, destroy your organic farm or ranch with sprays, destroy your tourist based forest dependent business,...then tough shit; the Logging Companies, National and State government all got paid at your expense. That is B.S. Corporations can even sue to ensure Oregon cannot use its own timber to produce end products (like amazing sustainable wood guitars, such as the Breedlove Oregon series) rather than being forced to export law logs. This is so obviously both, anti-labor and anti-environmental protection trade agreements. I think we need to turn it around. Let The People vote on and pass laws, let them file law suites over violations of those labor, environmental and other laws; however, making civil courts unavailable to corporations as we do persons, well that would make it possible for The People, to have a Freedom FOR a reasonable wage for an honest days work, good water to drink and air to breath, and more. We can even ensure more free market competition is small businesses are protected against unfair advantages big business relative to small business. It is the Freedom of corporations vs. The Freedom of The People. We obviously cannot have both; for which do you stand?
