There is an expression I like to use, Life happens while you plan it The question is; What are you being busy about? With the object of, I am too busy or being busy for busy sake, where is the value to your life? Like a dog chasing its tail. What are you going to do if or when you catch it? Therein lies the issue. As our responsibilities grow it is too easy to withdraw into busy mode, and lose touch with who and what goes on around us. We spend too much time being busy and not enough time just being. So busy doing everything you think you should do, that you never get around to what you want to do. It can be a defense mechanism. Having blinders on( If I dont see it, its not real). Stagnating, not growing, not solving anything, and not living your life. Here is what I think is a solution; When you awake in the morning, take some time to think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive. Take a breathe and think, What do I appreciate? What am I grateful for? What do I enjoy? And with that you will once again see the value and purpose in your life. For when you will realize that you have the ability to love and give it meaning and then share it.... You are truly blessed Doc B
