There is an uproar over Diddy being the commencement speaker at Howard University…. My question is this, how is he leaving college early to pursue his dream which ended up being a successful empire different from Labron, Bill Gates, and Steve Jobs skipping college all-together? Walt Disney, Quentin Tarantino, and Sir Richard Branson didnt even finish high school! People attend institutions of higher education to increase their earning potential. If you can skip being Sallie Mae’s whore and still meet your financial goals, then college isn’t necessary IMHO.
