There is another way to figure out whether Jews stole the land - TopicsExpress

There is another way to figure out whether Jews stole the land from Arabs and that is by looking at the geography of Israel. Look at any vista in Israel and imagine it was cultivated by palestinian -- or any other kind of -- farmers who had lived there for centuries. Then look for natural water sources. Remember it wont rain all summer. Examine the topsoil to see how deep it is. Remember there were no trees (look further away at vistas in Jordan or Syria to see no trees. It is obviously not possible. But obviously what you do see is cultivated land. You dont need dates of discovery to know that drip irrigation and huge covered greenhouses (dependent upon plastics), de-salinization of sea water, and water table access on a huge level (to water hundreds of acres of land, as opposed to bucket watering from a well) are all modern inventions and depend on the technology of the 1900s. The conclusion: before the application of these inventions to the land, it was impossible to support a large population and huge areas were completely unusuabe. And we all know the Arabs did not invent drip irrigation or desalinizaation of sea water. The further conclusion: the Arab and Jewish populations increased in tandem; there was no previous occupation of a huge indigenous population pre-dating the aliyah movements. Im been working on this angle for a while now, reading what I can find on the subject. What do you think?
