There is much to celebrate in New Zealand education’s system! Cognition Education will be working with the sector to showcase and celebrate education in New Zealand through ‘Festivals of Education’ in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch in the last week of March 2014. The festivals themes are: Collaboration, Innovation, Cohesion, and Celebration The Festivals will recognise that New Zealand’s educational success has two dimensions – the performance of our students, teachers, schools, and institutions in our community; and our proud record of inspiring educational achievement in other countries where our expertise and systems are valued. The success of these events will come through ensuring that the Festivals are planned with the sector, by the sector, and for the sector. The festivals will also highlight the value of education as a contributor to the diversity and the social fabric of New Zealand, and as a significant driver in our economy.
