There is no conflict between the churches and the Order of Odd Fellows. In fact, many Catholic priests, pastors and ministers have been made members since the 1800s and several of them actually held high offices in our beloved Order. Churches and the Order of Odd Fellows, are kindred, companion organizations, both actively engaged in the same general field of endeavor, and interested in the development of human and moral character of mankind, and both interested in providing people the avenue and a means by which his or her life may be improved and enriched. Both the teachings of most religions and the Odd Fellows, as a fraternal order, share the responsibility of enlightening people that only one life on this earth, is granted to each of us, and that life is to be used for benevolent purposes.
