There is no fear in love; but perfect love [ only Gods Divine Love - TopicsExpress

There is no fear in love; but perfect love [ only Gods Divine Love ] casts out fear, 1John 4:18 This is why the Devil throws his fiery darts > they are distractions to promote fear & doubt - it causes us to lose Faith in God ( dropping our shield ) ( looking elsewhere to a group, politically, or within ourselves ) and, as a result, we suffer the consequences of denying Gods Redeeming Power in our lives~~ we become removed from His Unconditional Love that yields such peace, comfort and security [ I.e. the mental health & psychological stability of a sound mind ]. Of course, there is **A** Condition of this Love, but that condition is provided for by God Himself through the Cross. Trying to redeem ourselves is silly-- its like trying to impress a Holy God with soiled toilet paper. The Foolish Hypocrite proudly displays his dirty rags as a badge of honor : a prized trophy that is so much more beautiful and lovely than everyone elses !! Ooohhh! See Matt chapter 19 - the Rich Young Ruler ~ see also below regarding storing up Earthly treasure. The typical, Utopian-seeking / God-denying Liberal doesnt except the notion that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. They dont acknowledge the FACT that we are ALL hopeless sinners and hypocrites totally incapable of saving ourselves. ( there are none righteous, no not one ). They are convinced that they are more righteous than others - that, their hypocrisy is not really something that is possible because they are Politically Correct and blameless because they have such Good and Noble ( Collectively Saving ) INTENTIONS !! As the saying goes-- the Road to Hell is paved with good intentions. Romans 3:4 Let God be found true, though every man be found a liar, ==> Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully. And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’ So he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. And I will say to my soul, ‘Soul, you have many good laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.’ But God said to him, ‘You fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’ So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. Lk. 12:16-21
