There is no greater joy than seeing someone you love happy. Spending last Saturday with Michaela was pure joy. She laughs at everything I said and do. She must think her God-pa is a clown. It doesnt matter, so long as she is happy. I think God is very much like that, He is more than live with our tragic misconceptions about Him. So long as we have joy. I believe that is why He allows us to keep the belief that we need to make Him Him happy. To bring sacrifices. To serve. To .... The truth is this. Jesus said Sacrifice and offerings, I do not desire but here I am to do your will. Note it is Jesus who did the will of the Father. Jesus is saying, I never wanted to sacrifices in the first place. I am not a god like Molech or Baal. I never wanted sacrifices, but if that is the only way you can deal with your conscience, I dont mind bearing with it. I believe what Jesus was trying to say was this. I am not a God who wants sacrifice from you but I will sacrifice myself for you. Many times I have see Jesus as my Saviour from the wrath of God. Now, I see Him as the Saviour of my fallen nature.
