There is no reason ever that a person in a relationship should have to feel jealous. If theres an issue w/trust, theres typically a reason for it. It doesnt necessarily even have to have come from the present, it could be something that lingers from the past. Completely irrelevant. If your love for your partner is real, the other person should understand & respect that youre feeling a certain way, & change things immediately for the sake of your feelings. No questions asked. If they dont then theres a reason & a lack of concern & respect for the one feeling hurt. I certainly wouldnt want my partner to feel threatened by an outsider & would go to ANY length to assure them that they are the only interest I have. By the time youre our ages there is inevitably baggage from past relationships that leave scars, fears & insecurities. They are very much real, & not should not be taken lightly. Mutual understanding of these leftovers shows your love, concern & respect for your partner. I dont think they should be made light of & certainly should not be a source of ammunition for the present. The world is cruel, we all know it, your partner is supposed to be your soft place in this hard world & when you feel your lacking that soft place everything, even little things seem to devour ones sense of security. Who wants to walk around every day feeling insecure? Not me. Today I pray for clarity, understanding & hope for ALL who are struggling w/feelings of doubt, fear & insecurity. I pray we all find that soft place, that sense of complete KNOWING. Without any doubts. Without any fears. Without any uncertainty. Forever I want to be loved now.
