There is no such thing as a coincidence or luck. There is a reason and purpose for everything. Recently I joined yet another group for truck drivers wives and girlfriends. Not long after joining someone posted this friend bomb thing saying if you were open to new friends comment and friend those who do. So I did, even though I usually dont.. and I made a few new friends. Lets fast forward to today... I usually call my husband on my breaks. I tried to call him at lunch but he didnt answer. When he doesnt, I usually take it that hes busy so I let it go. Today I didnt do that, for some reason I tried again. To say I was startled when a paramedic answered it an understatement. He told me that my husband had a severe breathing episode but that he was better but they were taking him to the hospital. He gave me the phone number and told me that I could call and check on him. However- when I tried, they refused to tell me much of anything other than he was doing some better. For a couple of hours I tried to find any way to find out anything. I posted what I did on face book about it and have gotten so many responses of support its overwhelming. Then- came the special one. Remember those new friends that I made the other day? One of them lives in Albany, GA. That new friend, asked her pastor who graciously went to the hospital and checked on my husband and was finally able to get some information out. Days ahead, the Lord knew I was going to need this person and set it up that we would be friends..scoff it you want, Ill never believe anything different. Thank you Lord, for friends in just the right places and times.
