There is nothing better then getting up on a Monday morning at 5:45 am to get your sweet darling child ready for school!!! But then to walk out the door at that time of morning to take him to the bus stop (without evening having drank your first cup of MOJO) and get the feeling that something is just not quite right in your yard.... Pitch black out there, you cant just quite put your finger on it at that moment... but then to return 30 minutes later (having an idea of what it is, but afraid to say something because your 9 year old will freak out in the car)... you return to investigate the situation alone and realize your gut feeling was right!!!! SOOOO, To the WONDERFUL, NO GOOD, STEALING SCROOGES of Hiram, Paulding County, GA!!!! Thank you for STEALING our Christmas yard decorations last night! Those decorations were not put out there for anyone other than our 9 year old to enjoy!!!! Im glad when you drove by our home that it brought so much joy... that it made you think they belonged in your own yard!!!! Thank you for getting out of your car, taking your sweet time to unwrap the black tape from our extension cord (because taking the cord would have been wrong) and leaving the yard stakes!!!! Some homeowners might be PISSED OFF right now... but not this ONE! Im SADDEN and HURT to think that someone had the audacity to get out of their car, walk up to my front porch and take something that is not theres (Christmas decorations or not)!!!! A Christmas Eve tradition that I started when Kadyn was old enough to walk outside and get a kick out of feeding our own reindeer carrots, hoping that Rudolph might see the carrots laying on the ground and decide to stop by!!!! So... Thank you!!!! You have definitely stolen a piece of our Christmas Joy, not just yard decorations!!! Anyone that knows me, knows that Christmas is a big deal in our home!!! If you would have stopped by and asked for them... I would have probably given them to you!!! But, stealing is so much better and especially Christmas decorations! So, instead of driving around homes/neighborhoods enjoying the lights and thinking about the next piece your going to steal... may you should take a moment and use it to reflect on why this season is celebrated, a time to reflect on our Saviors Birth!!! THIS IS NOT GOING TO RUIN OUR CHRISTMAS JOY, SPIRIT OR FAMILY TRADITIONS!!!!
