There is nothing good or bad hidden from God, and apart from reaping what we sow here on this earth in so many ways, there is a day of reckoning before God. Actions of ours in thought, word, and deed (both hidden in our hearts or physically,and in the open), are fully scrutinized and recorded by God. This includes intentions and motivations for our actions. Pressed by various situations, influence s, and forces around us (including close friends, relatives and loved ones), we engage in actions that spit in Gods face, clearly bordering on double standards, negative sinful thinking, hypocrisy, self-centredness, immorality, unethical values, sacrificing the future for the present, love for the world and its short-term material gains in opposition to going all out for Gods way, eventually-trapping negative compromises, trying to serve God and Satan, cultural practices that amount to idolatry, and more. We sometimes engage in these deliberate sinful, opportunistic, self-serving actions with the short term in view (what we deem a quick negative ill-valued turnaround to serve a short term, foundational need). The truth is that whether once, a few times, short or long term, what is wrong before God and contrary to His master plan for your life is wrong and has a price to pay. The devil gives out nothing for free and God rewards you according to your deeds. We need to break away from our failed past lived outside Gods original purpose, master plan and agenda for our lives, and surrender wholeheartedly to God and His clean agenda for us. We must surrender all all all that He gave to us as a gift including our very existence, personality, beauty or handsomeness, wisdom, knowledge, strength, good health, protection, loved ones, close relatives, source of income, favour, time, breath and more. Remember, He can withdraw everything including our very existence in a matter of seconds. My apologies to relatives of victims, but just picture the Melcom disaster that took place in split seconds......too fast to save ourselves. But thank God He has a genuine bankable plan for us to exit our mess and trapped situation. God is singing come back come back come back to me and all we ought to do is Surrender to Him through Jesus, dump and resist the devil for good. Let us pray this surrender prayer NOW!.... Lord Jesus, thank you for obediently submitting yourself to go through the most humiliating process in the history of mankind all to save me from this self-inflicted mess and bondage I find myself in, and the dreaded wrath of God. I admit I messed up and now choose the option of getting back to God and living His way. Lord forgive me for everything I have done against You, my fellow human beings, and myself as I surrender all to you. I give you my heart, body and everything constituting me and ask you to come and reside permanently in my heart as my Lord. I want to serve you, operate fully in your purpose and plan for my life, and to be a blessing to humanity. Save me Lord and show me the way I must go. Revoke every trans-generational and self-inflicted curse and their effect on my life. Heal me in total Lord and equip me to fulfill your assignment for me. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen. Yes we can!!!
