There is nothing that can kick start your day like having a breakfast prepared in the Paleo style. Some of the Paleo breakfast foods you try include the following: Paleo Banana Pancakes: Paleo banana pancakes made from coconut or almond flours are delicious and are a must have on your list of favorite Paleo breakfast foods. To make the pancakes have a distinctive taste you may want to consider adding mashed banana and eggs to the flour before making setting out to make them. Paleo Breakfast Porridge: This porridge can be made from flax or almond meal and mixed with coconut milk. If you are looking to add a spicy taste to the porridge adding berries, nuts or unsweetened coconut flakes would be great. To make the porridge sweeter you can use banana with the sweetness of the porridge depending on how ripe the bananas you are using are. You can also drizzle maple syrup or raw honey. Fried Sweet Plantains: Plantains can be a good alternative to white potatoes in their unripe form an if left to ripen they make very good dessert ingredients. If you are frying them ripe it is important to cut them in half, then half again length wise to enable them cook while still maintaining their natural shape. Use virgin coconut oil and a bit of cinnamon to taste. Be careful not to over burn them. Cassava and Bacon Hash: Cassava is rich in vitamin C and Manganese and can make a great Paleo breakfast meal especially when served with bacon hash as a side dish. Boil the cassava and serve with bacon fried in virgin coconut oil. To add on to the sumptuousness, sage and blood oranges would be a perfect flavor combination. If bacon does not do it for you, then fish meat would be a good replacement.
