There is nothing worse then a dog that wants to mark everything in the house like its the great outdoors. How the hell do I make him stop? He goes out on a regular basis ( in the morning and a nice LONG walk before we go to bed at the same time every day), they have a nice good size pen so theyre not stuck in the house on beautiful days... and soon well have a fenced in yard for them to run free. So, its not like Winston is holding it in all day and finally lets go and...we all remember my posts back a few years when we first got scrappy our chihuahua...who is NOW house trained in the last two years..and even with a new dog, hes STILL been really good. With Winston, its more like...He pees on the corners of EVERYTHING in this house he can find. Some big ones and some just stupid little squirts . So, I KNOW hes doing it because he just feels like it and he knows hes doing something bad cause he sneaks it when I am home. He will actually wait till I am busy in another room or run down in the basement if Im not paying attention and poop and pee. I actually have to walk him until he gives in to poop. If I dont, he will actually HOLD it and sneak off to poop in the basement, but sometimes even after pooping TWICE, he will still manage to squeeze out another. Cant believe the amount of poop and pee in this little dog just In ONE day!!!! He goes like the big dogs i had. Sheesh! When I have to work, I get up at 6 now to throw on clothes and take him around the block. I come home and he pees on EVERYTHING like I never took him out. Does ANYONE have any advice for this lovable but stubborn Mini Pin?
