There is now a high chance of seeing the northern lights tonight. The solar storm is about to flare up to moderate levels and areas from I-70 north have a good chance to see the lights after twilight moves away so starting around 8pm through at least midnight...possibly beyond. If you go out tonight make sure to grab a jacket and get away from the city lights. You will NOT see them near the city! Your looking for a green-whitish light low on the north horizon and if you are lucky a red glow above it.
