There is one saying that has been around for years and years. Many people seem to think it’s in the Bible and maybe you’re even one of them. The saying is this, “God moves in mysterious ways.” God does move in ways we don’t understand or comprehend all the time, but if we really seek God for the answer to a move that He has made, we will find out by way of the Spirit, why it happened. The scripture that is misinterpreted is 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. It reads like this, “However, as it is written: No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him, but God has revealed it to us by His Spirit.” The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. Quite often, the way God moves in my life and the lives of others, to say the least, is puzzling to me. Have you ever had any of those times in your life? I’m sure you have. We have to remember that He is in control and He knows best. When God works things out, they will be perfect. I’m sure glad that I have Him to lean on, even though more times than not, I wonder why God moves in the strange ways (to me) that He does. Because I, in no way, would have done that if I were God. When we have the Spirit of God in us, all we have to do is be honest with God and ourselves, pray and really seek out the answer — as to why He moved in the way He did. And through the Spirit you will know. Maybe not right away, and maybe you won’t know exactly. But, you will get an answer that will satisfy you. God loves you so very much. He really does!
