There is progress again with the outdoors cats. Raffles was - TopicsExpress

There is progress again with the outdoors cats. Raffles was waiting at the edge of the bushes, though she still wouldnt come out until I put the food down and backed off. Tinkerbell, however, is getting snarky with me. She was waiting for me at the foot of the stairs, and meowed at me to hurry up a couple of times as I was bringing kitty noms out for them. Then she hissed at me because I wasnt doing it fast enough and backing off. Ok, so she hissed at me ... its still progress, as she was coming up to the food while my hand was still on the tv dinner tray. One of these days, shell let me pet her, and that will be a day to mark on the calendar. Shes starting to trust a single human again .... gotta start saving up for fixing her and the kitten more, plus the hav-a-hart to catch them, and a wire dog kennel for indoors once they are caught and fixed. That way, I can put them in there after their surgery to recuperate for a few days, with a small litter pan and food and water. I want to find the kind with the slideout litter tray on the one side and bowl holders in the door so I dont have to open the door and have them possibly get out until they have recovered, so ten or so days caged. By then, they and the boys should be past the worst of the hissing and snarling contests, too. Yep, kitty momma has a plan.
