There is room at the table: Vs. 10-11 Matthew didn’t receive any treatment or training on how to be better, he just had a meal with Jesus. We must always remember that Jesus isn’t looking for the best of us, he wants the worst of us. Jesus and his disciples found themselves right in the middle of a meal with the worst of their society and that exactly where Jesus wanted to be. By having a meal with Matthew and his friends Jesus showed those around him these things: A.) He Cares- John 13:34 & 35 B.) He is Committed- John 8:12 C.)
